Heat oven to 400 F. Grease 9" pie plate.
Cook ground beef and onion until beef is brown; drain. Stir in salt. Spread in pie plate; sprinkle with cheese. Stir remaining ingredients with fork until blended. Pour into pie plate.
Bake 25 minutes or until knife inserted in center comes out clean.
Cover and refrigerate unbaked pie up to 24 hours before baking. Uncover and bake as directed - except increase bake time by about 10 minutes.
