Uncle Rays Mesq Chip

Family made quality foods. The life and times of uncle Ray. Chapter 30 - Just Peachy: At the age of 10, I lived with my family in Detroit and by today's standards we would be considered poor. On my way home from school one day, I came across a fenced-in-yard that had a small peach tree standing in the middle. There was nothing I loved more than fresh peaches. I cough see through the wire fence that there were 15 large juicy peaches hanging from the tree and two lying on the ground. I began to think that the two on the ground would rot for sure, if they stayed there, and how that would be an awful shame. So, I climbed over the fence, sat down under the tree and enjoyed the sweetest, juiciest peaches I ever ate in my life. We only had fresh fruit once or twice a year and I was very hungry. It didn't occur to me to ask permission. I picked several more peaches, put them in the fold of my shirt and made my way home. My self-control went out the window the minute I thought about those peaches rotting on the ground. So many people, like I did, think that if they have a good reason for doing wrong, then it;s ok. But it is never right to do wrong and never wrong to do right. Self-Control: Rejecting wrong desires and doing what is right. Setting our own limits. Refusing to equate desires with rights. From my family to yours, thank you for choosing Uncle Ray's.
